On Sunday, July 7, Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos presided over the Orthros and Divine Liturgy at the church of the Theological School of Halki. Following the Divine Liturgy, the Abbot conducted a Trisagion in memory of the late Patriarch Athenagoras, a distinguished alumnus of the School, marking the 52nd anniversary of his passing.
The service was attended by a large number of pilgrims from various parts of Greece, demonstrating their deep reverence and admiration for the late Patriarch.
After the commemoration, the Abbot took part in a prayer service for the well-being of a group of pilgrims from Cyprus, led by Archimandrite Dimitrianos Demetriou. The Abbot warmly welcomed the group to the School, providing insights into its illustrious history and the significant contributions it has made to the Church over the years.
