The teachings of Christ challenge the established order of the world, where the first shall be last, the master shall be a servant, and the greatest shall be the least. In the person of Jesus Christ, God reveals a new way of living where humility and service reign.
Often, as Christians, we struggle to balance the spirit of domination with the spirit of service. This internal conflict leads us astray from the true Christian path, causing harm both individually and collectively.
History has shown that using faith as a tool of power over others leads to spiritual consequences and suffering. The temptation of power has brought down nations and civilizations, reminding us of the importance of humility and service.
As the world drifts away from its Christian roots, there is a growing need for authenticity and a return to the spirit of service that Christ exemplified. Only through selflessness and serving others can we find true peace and fulfillment.
Death, as the ultimate act of self-diminishment, offers us a final opportunity to embrace Christ’s teachings and enter into eternal joy and service in the presence of God.
