From February 22 to 25, Metropolitan Ambrosios of Korea and Exarch of Japan, along with Father Romanos Kavchak and Nikolaos Pinatsis, made a visit to Tokyo, Japan.
During their time in Tokyo, they conducted the Sunday service at the Anglican Church of St. Alban’s. After the Divine Liturgy, they hosted a reception in the church hall for the attendees, fostering a sense of fellowship in a joyful and loving atmosphere.
On Monday morning, they participated in a prayer service for the end of the war in Ukraine and for the souls of those who lost their lives on both sides of the conflict. In the afternoon, they joined a protest rally against the war in Ukraine, advocating for peace and justice.
In all his speeches during the mentioned events, the Metropolitan shared the sincere paternal blessings and good wishes of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. He also conveyed messages of spiritual upliftment and support.
Furthermore, on Tuesday, the Metropolitan collaborated with various organizations to strengthen the structure and organization of the Orthodox Church in Japan under the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
