With the Blessing of the Patriarch John X of Antioch, the Patriarchal Exarch Bishop Romanos (Hanna) and the Patriarchal Assistant Bishop Moses (Khoury) welcomed the Ambassador of Sweden to Lebanon and Syria, Jessica Svardstrom, at the Patriarchal Residence in Damascus.
During the meeting, the importance of collaboration to support efforts in building a new Syria based on equality was emphasized. The significance of drafting a comprehensive constitution that guarantees all freedoms, justice, and the rule of law for all citizens without exception was also highlighted, as a foundation for a future of justice and peace.
