Archimandrite Arsenie Popa, the abbot of Sihăstria Monastery, expressed his joy and gratitude for the approval of the canonization of all sixteen saints, with a special emphasis on the two fathers from the monastery, Venerable Paisie Olaru and Venerable Cleopa Ilie.
He mentioned that the decision was eagerly awaited by the pilgrims of Sihăstria Monastery, who have shown great devotion to these saints over the years. The approval of their canonization was a source of great joy and spiritual fulfillment.
Archimandrite Arsenie Popa also mentioned the preparations being made for the exhumation of the two fathers and the reception of their relics in the monastery’s main Church, highlighting the importance of their presence as protectors of the monastic community.
