The Secretary General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Maira Myrogianni, met with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew at the Phanar on Thursday, September 12. This meeting marked her first official engagement since assuming her new duties.
During the discussion, the Secretary General reaffirmed the Greek State’s support for the institution of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and showed deep respect for the Ecumenical Patriarch. They delved into various issues concerning the global Greek community.
