During the feast of the Holy Trinity on Monday, a Doxology was held at the Patriarchal Cathedral for the staff of the Basilica Media Centre of the Romanian Patriarchate, an institution under the protection of the Holy Trinity.
Patriarchal Auxiliary Bishop Varlaam of Ploiești emphasized the role of journalists in spreading the Light of Christ to Romanian society.
Trinitas TV, Radio Trinitas, Lumina Newspaper, Basilica News Agency, and the Press Office of the Romanian Patriarchate were acknowledged for bringing joy and hope amidst troubling events that receive extensive media coverage.
The Basilica Media Centre was praised for showcasing positive events in the life of the people and the Church, bringing peace and harmony to the lives of its audience.
Prayers were offered for supporters of the media ministry and beneficiaries of the Media Centre, including Radio Trinitas listeners, TV viewers, newspaper readers, and followers of news from the Basilica News Agency and the Press Office.
The Church’s historical involvement in communication technologies was highlighted, expressing gratitude for the blessings bestowed on the Church through modern means of communication.
Appreciation was extended to the counselors and staff of the Basilica Media Centre, led by Father Nicolae Dascălu, for their dedicated work in communicating the message of the Church.
The Divine Liturgy and Te Deum service for the feast of the Holy Trinity were conducted by Patriarchal Auxiliary Bishop Varlaam of Ploiești, with clergy from the Basilica Media Centre participating in the service.
