On Saturday, October 19, 2024, around 20 members of the Apostle Paul Parish in Incheon visited the Holy Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Savior in Gapyeong.
Initially, they participated in the Paraklesis of the Theotokos, followed by Sister Agathe sharing insights into the lives of the 24 Protectors Saints of the Church in Korea, accompanied by a moving story about St. Porphyrios.
The group then visited the grave of the late Metropolitan Soterios to offer prayers for his soul and express gratitude.
Subsequently, both young and adult pilgrims collaborated to clean the interior and exterior of the Holy Monastery.
After a satisfying lunch, they strolled through the forest, marveling at the lush greenery, majestic trees, mountains, and vibrant wildflowers surrounding the Monastery, appreciating God’s abundant gifts of creation.
