Join us in celebrating the memory of the Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas, as we honor our beloved Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew on his Patronal Feast Day. His All-Holiness will lead the Feast Day Vespers on Monday, 10 June 2024, starting at 6:00 pm at the Venerable Patriarchal Church of Saint George in the Phanar.
Following the Vespers, the Patriarch will conduct the Agiasmos (Sanctification Service) to mark the completion of the renovation of the Marasleion School adjacent to the Patriarchal Church. A reception will follow at the School, where the Ecumenical Patriarch will receive well wishes from clergy and faithful attendees in honor of his name day celebration.
The following day, Tuesday, 11 June 2024, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will preside over the Divine Liturgy of the feast day at the Venerable Patriarchal Church in the Phanar, accompanied by Holy Hierarchs from Constantinople and beyond.
After the Divine Liturgy, Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon will address the Ecumenical Patriarch on behalf of the Holy Hierarchs, to which His All-Holiness will respond accordingly.
