Patriarch Daniel of Romania conveyed a message of solidarity to Patriarch John X of Antioch and the Whole East.
The Romanian Orthodox Church stands in strong solidarity with the Orthodox Christians in Syria amidst the recent conflicts.
Read the Patriarch’s message:
Your Beatitude,
Given the recent events in Syria, we want to express our heartfelt solidarity with Orthodox Christians under your spiritual and canonical jurisdiction, as well as with all those affected by the ongoing violence and unrest.
We implore the All-Merciful God to safeguard all Christian communities in Syria, preserving their faith and hope. Additionally, we pray for peace and stability in Syria, allowing those who have been displaced to return home and contribute to the reconstruction and fortification of their communities.
With brotherly love in Christ,
† Daniel
Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church
