Patriarch Daniel of the Romanian Orthodox Church sent a congratulatory message to Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana, Durres and All Albania on his 95th birthday. The message was conveyed on behalf of the members of the Holy Synod, the clergy, and the faithful of the Romanian Orthodox Church.
Archbishop Anastasios, born on November 4, 1929, in Piraeus, Greece, visited Romania in 2017 for the October solemn session of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church. He currently holds the position of the senior among the Primates of the Autocephalous Orthodox Churches.
