On Monday the 22nd of July, Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem received:
- The Patriarchal Representative of the Holy Metropolis of Acre – Ptolemais Archimandrite Silouanos for matters of the Metropolis of Acre.
- The Presbyter Emmanuel, Head of the Abdu Community outside the city of Ramallah for matters of his parish.
- The scholarship students of Theology at the University of Thessaloniki, Mr Amir from Galilee and Mr Matthaios from Remla.
- The Consul General of Spain in Jerusalem.
- The new Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Israel Mr DauletYemberdiyev. In this, Patriarch Theophilos developed the spiritual and peaceful work of the Patriarchate from the beginning of its establishment and especially from the years of the late Patriarch of Jerusalem, Saint Sophronius, who signed the agreement – Achtiname with the Caliph Omar Khattab (638 AD), through which the protection of the religious shrines of the Holy Land was ensured. He also spoke to him about the custody of the Jordanian Government over the Christian and Muslim holy places of Jerusalem.
