Beloved brothers and sisters in the Lord,
Today we enter the Nativity Fast. Through fasting and the liturgical texts and hymns, the Church guides us to create space for prayer and align our actions with God amidst life’s challenges.
The Incarnation of the Word of God has brought new perspectives to humanity. The promised Savior has arrived, and Christ is with us always.
Let us humbly and joyfully engage in fasting, focusing on purifying our hearts and uniting with God in the Church. Penance, prayer, abstinence, almsgiving, and participation in the Eucharist will guide us on this spiritual journey.
May we diligently work towards becoming vessels of Christ’s grace, welcoming Him into our souls and bodies during this holy season.
May the peace of Christ be with us as we embark on this enriching fast, and may God’s glory fill the earth and heavens.
