Today, Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East welcomed Metropolitan Saba Esper of New York and All North America, accompanied by Mr. Fawaz Khoury, Vice Chairman of the Archdiocesan Board of Trustees, at the Patriarchal Headquarters in Balamand.
The delegation updated His Beatitude on the progress of ecclesiastical work in North America. Patriarch John X highlighted the significant role of the Antiochian archdiocese and the strong bond between churches in the homeland and the diaspora.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss current events in Lebanon and Syria, as well as other pressing issues.
