From May 17-19, Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and All Scandinavia, along with Archimandrite Sosipatros Stephanoudis, visited the Mother Church of Constantinople’s flock in Anderstorp and Jönköping, Sweden.
On May 17, the clergymen visited the Anderstorp Hellenic Association and met with its members.
The following day, a Divine Liturgy was held at Anderstorps Kyrka in Anderstorp, led by Metropolitan Cleopas, with Father Sosipatros in attendance.
During his speech, the Metropolitan emphasized the importance of seeking spiritual nourishment in addition to material needs, drawing from the day’s Gospel reading.
Afterwards, a Trisagion was sung at the local cemetery for the departed members of the Greek Orthodox community.
The visit concluded with a Divine Liturgy at the Parish of Saints Constantine & Helen in Jönköping on May 19, followed by a reception at the parish.
