The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Andrija Madic, and the Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary, Laszlo Kever, recently visited the historic Cetinje Monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church. During their visit, they were joined by the Vice-President of the Government of Montenegro, Budimir Aleksic.
The delegation paid their respects to the revered holy relics housed within the monastery, including those of St. Peter, St. John the Baptist, and a piece of the Holy Cross. The significance of these relics draws many visitors and believers, underlining the monastery’s importance as a center of spiritual and cultural heritage.
Following their tour of the Monastery, the parliamentary leaders met with the Metropolitan of Montenegro, who expressed his satisfaction with their visit. The meeting highlighted the importance of intergovernmental and interfaith dialogue in fostering mutual respect and understanding between nations and religious communities.
