Metropolitan Ioannis of Zambia and Mozambique held a meeting with President and Member of the International Olympic Committee, Spyros Kapralos, and Secretary-General, Manolis Kolympadis, to discuss the establishment of an Olympic Museum and exhibition in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia.
Accompanying the Metropolitan were Socrates Papageorgiou, a physician and Professor of Neurology and Neuropsychology at the First Neurology Clinic of the University of Athens at the Aiginiteio University Hospital, a member of the friends of the Olympic Museum Foundation, and Georgios Jelilis, who participated in events organized by the Metropolitanate for the Olympic Games and the Olympic spirit alongside gold medalist Athanasia Tzoumeleka.
The Metropolitan conveyed the best wishes and blessings of Pope and Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa for the successful completion of this important project, scheduled to take place in the upcoming months.
