Festive celebrations took place on the second day of Passover at the Orthodox Military Cathedral in honor of Saint Great Martyr George the Victorious, the patron saint of the military forces in Poland, and Martyr Priest Col. Basil (Martysz). The Metropolitan of Warsaw and All Poland presided over the event, which brought together clergy, devoted believers, and friends of the Warsaw Military Parish.
During the service, the Metropolitan spoke about the significance of the Feast of the Resurrection of the Lord and delved into the essence of Christ’s divinity. He also highlighted the important role of the cathedral within the armed forces, sharing key moments from its history since its establishment post-World War II and emphasizing its ongoing efforts to connect with military personnel.
