Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and All Scandinavia, along with Archimandrite Bartholomew Iatridis, conducted the funeral service for Wolmar Holmström at the Norra Kapellet Chapel of the Solna Cemetery on Wednesday morning, May 22, 2024.
Wolmar Holmström, the former editor of the magazine “ortodox kyrkotidning”, had published articles in Greek by the late Archimandrite Fr. Eusebius Vittis. The Metropolitan highlighted his moral obligation to Wolmar Holmström upon hearing about his passing.
Two years ago, Wolmar Holmström had collaborated with the Metropolitan on a study about Father Eusebius, completing some of the unfinished articles. After the funeral, the Metropolitan presented the study to the deceased’s relatives, dedicating a special mention to Wolmar Holmström in the preface.
