Metropolitan Iakovos of Ireland recently announced a significant meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Greece to Ireland, Mr. Stylianos Stylianopoulos, on social media.
The Metropolitan shared: “I had the honor of meeting with the Ambassador of Greece, Mr. Stylianopoulos, who has recently started his role representing Greece in the beautiful country of Ireland! We discussed matters concerning the Greek community in Ireland.”
Following the meeting, the Metropolitan mentioned a collaborative luncheon that included the participation of the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Telemachos. During the luncheon, topics of mutual interest were discussed, further enhancing communication and cooperation between the two communities.
The meeting and subsequent discussions signify a strengthened relationship and shared commitment to addressing the needs of the Greek and Cypriot communities in Ireland.
