On Thursday, Metropolitan Petru of Bessarabia welcomed the Greek Ambassador to Moldova, Nikolaos Krikos, at the Metropolitan Palace in Chisinau to celebrate the opening of the Greek Embassy.
During their meeting, they engaged in discussions on various ecclesiastical and social matters, emphasizing the strong spiritual bond between the Orthodox Churches of Greece and Romania. Ambassador Krikos conveyed the Greek people’s profound respect and admiration for the Romanian Orthodox Church. In addition, Archdeacon Maxim Sturza highlighted the ongoing initiatives and activities of the Metropolis of Bessarabia.
The visit concluded with a visit to the Chapel of Saint John the Theologian, adding a spiritual aspect to the diplomatic interaction.
