Many Christians came to venerate her relics, and even some Turks were moved by the fragrance and began to question their own faith. Some of them even converted to Christianity upon witnessing such a miraculous sign.
Saint Aquilina’s bravery and steadfastness in the face of torture and death inspired many to remain true to their Christian faith, even in the face of persecution. Her martyrdom serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by those who have gone before us to preserve and spread the Gospel of Christ.
Let us remember Saint Aquilina and all the martyrs who have given their lives for the sake of Christ, and may their example strengthen our own faith and resolve to follow Him faithfully, no matter the cost.
