On Sunday, September 1, the Feast of St. Alexander, Metropolitan John of Zambia and Mozambique presided over a memorial service in the Church of St. Alexander in Lusaka in memory of the late Metropolitan Alexander of Nigeria.
The Metropolitan delivered a vibrant sermon, drawing inspiration from the life and work of St. Alexander and reflecting on the legacy of the late Metropolitan of Nigeria, who dedicated his life to missionary work and spreading the Word of God. He also shared insights into the special spiritual bond they shared.
