I began the year 5784 in a difficult place, as my son Moishy experienced a broken engagement, leaving both him and me heartbroken. Despite the challenges, Moishy returned to his studies and I struggled to find my spiritual footing during Elul, feeling disconnected and adrift.
The outbreak of war in October shifted my focus to prayer and supporting those affected, putting a pause on Moishy’s dating efforts. As my youngest son’s bar mitzvah approached, the distractions continued, and my daughter Sari expressed interest in finding a match.
After a series of events, Sari took matters into her own hands and connected with Josh, a friend of Moishy’s, leading to a successful match. This joyous occasion led to further matchmaking, resulting in Moishy’s engagement to Miri and ultimately two weddings in the month of Adar.
Celebrations ensued, and the blessings of Mazel tov echoed throughout our family.
