In a heartwarming ceremony, Bishop Prodromos of the Holy Diocese of Toliara and South Madagascar officiated the group baptisms of 140 converts. This significant event, celebrated by the local Church, was joyfully shared on social media, showcasing the enthusiastic welcome of the new members and recognizing the valuable contribution of volunteers from Cyprus.
The Diocese expressed deep joy, stating, “By the grace of God, 140 individuals of all ages were welcomed into our Orthodox Church. Our hearts are filled with happiness as we witness these souls being reborn and embarking on the path of salvation.”
The presence of the Cypriot volunteers, led by Father Vasileios of the Holy Church of Ayia Napa, was particularly highlighted. Their dedication and love added a special touch to the event, bringing extra blessings and the love of the Lord to the occasion.
