On December 27, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow led the final session of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church for 2024 at the Patriarchal and Synodal residence in the Danilov Monastery in Moscow.
At the beginning of the session, Patriarch Kirill greeted the Holy Synod members, expressing gratitude and setting the tone for the day’s discussions. The Synod then proceeded with its agenda.
This session marked the conclusion of the Synod’s activities for the year, addressing important issues and making decisions crucial to the Russian Orthodox Church’s life and mission. The outcomes of the session are expected to shape the Church’s direction in the upcoming year.
