Tamar Beruchashvili, Georgia’s Ambassador to Bucharest, paid a visit to the Library of the Holy Synod at St Anthimos Monastery on Thursday, April 18th. Consul David Chachava accompanied the Ambassador during the visit.
The Georgian officials were warmly welcomed by Archimandrite Policarp Chitulescu, the director of the Library of the Holy Synod.
The main purpose of the visit was to organize a film screening about the life and achievements of Holy Hieromartyr Anthimos the Iberian. The screening is scheduled to take place at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24th, at the Library of the Holy Synod.
Discussions were held regarding the establishment of a joint activity plan that would highlight the significant contributions of the Holy Hierarch Anthimos the Iberian.
Ambassador Tamar Beruchashvili expressed her gratitude for the willingness of the Library of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church to engage in close collaborations.
