Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, accompanied by Metropolitans Kyrillos of Imbros and Tenedos, Iakovos of Mexico, along with clergy, nuns, and local residents from Imbros, visited the chapel of Saint Charalambos on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 20. The chapel, located in a forest near the Patriarch’s home village of Saints Theodore, hosted a Vespers service led by the village priest, Fr. Asterios Okomousis. This gathering provided a moment for communal prayer and reflection in the peaceful surroundings.
