Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew met with the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at the Maximos Mansion in Athens on Monday, November 25, 2024.
The Patriarch was accompanied by a distinguished delegation, including Metropolitan Theodoritos of Laodicea, Director of the Ecumenical Patriarchate’s Office in Athens; Archbishop Makarios of Australia; and the Grand Ecclesiarch Aetios, Director of the Patriarch’s Private Office.
The meeting highlighted the strong relationship between the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Hellenic Republic, emphasizing their mutual dedication to promoting faith, culture, and dialogue on important issues impacting Orthodox Christians and the global community.
