Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew paid a visit to Metropolitan Stefanos of Kallioupolis at the Church of St. Demetrios in Tatavla on December 27. During his visit, he also stopped by the Metropolitan’s office, where he serves as Supervisor of the Tatavla District, to celebrate his name day.
The Patriarch received a warm welcome at the church from His Eminence, along with the clergy and members of the Church Committee of the Community, led by President Georgios Theodoridis. They showed their respect and sought the Patriarch’s blessing and well-wishes for the festive season of the Holy Twelve Days of Christmas, as well as guidance and support in their ecclesiastical duties.
Ecumenical Patriarch extended his sincere wishes to Metropolitan Stefanos for his health and the continued success of his ministry. He also praised both the Metropolitan and the Ecclesiastical Committee for their valuable contributions and the outstanding work they are doing.
