On Saturday, January 25, the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity concluded with a special ecumenical gathering held at the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady in Ponticelli, in the Naples region. The event was organized by the Provincial Council of Christian Churches of Campania.
The Orthodox Church was represented by Bishop George of Krateia and Dr. Elisavet Kalambouka, President of the Council. During the gathering, Bishop George conveyed the greetings and blessings of Metropolitan Polykarpos of Italy. He also read a message from the Metropolitan dedicated to the Week of Prayer, emphasizing the importance of unity among Christian communities.
