On the Feast of Saint John the Baptist, the Forerunner and Baptizer of the Lord, a shining herald of repentance, Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria addressed a heartfelt letter to Archbishop Anastasios of Albania, wishing him a swift and full recovery.
In his letter, Patriarch Daniel expressed profound respect for Archbishop Anastasios, recognizing him as a tireless preacher of repentance and salvation, a devoted messenger of God’s Word, and a living canonical conscience of the Church. Highlighting his unwavering dedication, the Patriarch wrote:
“We prayerfully wish you a speedy recovery with the help of God’s grace, which ‘is made perfect in weakness’ (2 Corinthians 12:9). May the All-Merciful God, through the prayers of His Most Holy Mother, grant you robust health and strength to overcome this trial and to continue serving the Holy Church as a beacon and example to all of us, as you have always done.”
