Archbishop George of Cyprus received a warm welcome from Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece at the Holy Archdiocese of Athens. During their meeting, the two church leaders discussed various issues of mutual concern.
Archbishop George emphasized the importance of the Cyprus issue, stating, “Our national problem, the Cyprus issue, is what concerns us the most.” Their conversation highlighted the common challenges and worries faced by the Churches of Greece and Cyprus.
