Archbishop Sotirios Leads Holy Resurrection Service at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Toronto
Archbishop Sotirios recently presided over the Holy Resurrection Service at the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Toronto, with the assistance of Frs. Nicolas P. Andreou and Triantafillos Porfiris. Thousands of devout followers came together to commemorate and honor the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. After the distribution of the Holy Light, Archbishop Sotirios led the congregation outside to proclaim the Gospel Reading and joyfully chant “Christ Is Risen!” The Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom followed, and at the conclusion of the service, Archbishop Sotirios distributed traditional Easter Eggs to all attendees.
