According to an announcement by the Metropolis of Nafpaktos, a Divine Liturgy will be held tomorrow, Sunday, January 26, before the body of the late Archbishop Anastasios of Albania at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens. The service will be officiated by the Vice President of the Standing Holy Synod, Metropolitan Hierotheos of Nafpaktos.
At 10:30 a.m., Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens will lead a Trisagion service in memory of the late hierarch. On behalf of the Church of Greece, the Secretary-General of the Holy Synod will deliver a commemorative speech honoring the legacy and contributions of Archbishop Anastasios.
The services are expected to gather clergy and faithful in tribute to the life and work of a remarkable Orthodox leader.
