The representative of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Athens, Metropolitan Theodoritos of Laodicea, paid a visit to the “Evangelismos” Hospital today, where Archbishop Anastasios of Albania is currently undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit post-surgery.
During the visit, Metropolitan Theodoritos met with Bishop Anastasios of Kruja and the accompanying clergy at the Church of the Annunciation located within the hospital premises. Together, they offered a collective prayer for the Archbishop’s speedy recovery and ongoing well-being.
After the prayer, Metropolitan Theodoritos conveyed the sincere wishes of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, as well as his personal best regards, to Bishop Anastasios of Kruja.
Bishop Anastasios shared an update on Archbishop Anastasios’ condition, mentioning that his health is currently stable with slight improvements. He also expressed deep gratitude for the support, prayers, and well-wishes received from the Ecumenical Patriarchate. Additionally, he requested that his warm regards and deep respect be conveyed to the Ecumenical Patriarch as a token of appreciation for his concern and support.
