The newly elected Archbishop Ioannis of Albania, attended the official celebration of Greek Independence Day organized by the Embassy of Greece in Tirana.
He was accompanied by Metropolitan Nathaniel of Amantia and Bishop Anastasios of Kruja.
During the event, Archbishop Ioannis exchanged warm greetings with the Greek Ambassador to Albania, Ms. Konstantina Kamitsi, and engaged in a brief but cordial conversation, highlighting the spirit of mutual respect and cooperation.
His presence at the event underlined the continued commitment of the Orthodox Church of Albania to fostering strong ties with the Greek community and promoting harmonious relations between the two neighboring nations.
