Today at noon, Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece had a meeting with the President of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE), Lazaros Kyrizoglou. President Kyrizoglou was joined by KEDE members Theodoros Ampatzoglou and Elias Apostolopoulos, along with their colleagues. They visited the Archbishop to convey their best wishes on his name day and to discuss various matters of mutual interest.
Furthermore, the Civil Administrator of Mount Athos, Anastasios Mitsialis, paid a formal visit to the Archbishop. He was accompanied by the Deputy Administrator, Aristos Kasmiroglou, and the former Administrator, Athanasios Martinos.
The discussions during the meetings were cordial and focused on topics that are of common concern, underscoring the ongoing partnership between the Church and Mount Athos.
