On Sunday, June 16, 2024, a Poly-Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was held at the Cathedral Church of Saint George of the Greeks in Venice. Metropolitan Meliton of Philadelphia presided over the Liturgy, joined by Metropolitan Polykarpos of Italy and Bishop Georgios of Krateia. The occasion marked the 450th anniversary of the completion of the historic Church of Saint George of the Greeks (San Giorgio dei Greci).
Following the Divine Liturgy, a memorial service was conducted to honor the late founders, benefactors, renovators, and Priests of the Church.
