The Holy Metropolis of Nicopolis and Preveza, along with the Municipality of Preveza, are delighted to announce the upcoming visit of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew for the second time in nearly three decades. The visit is scheduled for the weekend of June 27 and 28.
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew graciously accepted the invitation extended to him during a joint visit to Constantinople last December by Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Nicopolis and Preveza and the Mayor of Preveza, Nikolaos Georgakos. This gesture symbolizes the deep respect, love, and devotion of both the hosts and the people of Preveza towards the Patriarch and the Ecumenical Throne.
