This morning, Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece met with Dr. Mohamed Mahdi Immanipour, Director of the Islamic Organization for Cultural and Interfaith Relations of Iran.
During the meeting, which lasted more than 45 minutes, they discussed international developments and stressed the importance of taking substantial steps to promote world peace.
They highlighted the crucial role of religions in translating these goals from theory into practice.
The Archbishop and Dr. Immanipour agreed on the need for closer cooperation in cultural activities and emphasized the importance of strengthening the student exchange program.
As part of the visit, they exchanged traditional gifts.
