Welcome to the 4th International Conference of the Archons of the Ecumenical Throne on the Protection of Religious Freedom, Democracy, and Human Rights. The worship service held yesterday set a strong spiritual foundation for this Conference, which is expected to be fruitful and enriching.
The Offikalioi, distinguished individuals from Greece, America, and Canada, have provided valuable support to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, both spiritually and materially. Special thanks to the Order of the Offikialioi of St. Andrew in the USA for organizing this Conference. We are deeply grateful for their efforts.
The presence of the Hierarchs of the Throne guiding the Archons of the Offikialioi reflects a significant mobilization and dedication to supporting the First Throne Church. Your interest in the mission of the Ecumenical Throne is truly appreciated, and you are in our prayers.
In a time of rapid secularization and alienation, it is crucial for the faithful to come together to support religious freedom, democracy, and human rights based on our spiritual Tradition. Cultivating love and respect for every human being is our response to the superficial notion of tolerance, which may lack depth and impact.
The Gospel truth remains the ultimate solution to the world’s problems, and it is inspiring to see many dedicated individuals working towards this cause. This Conference will offer valuable insights, prompt self-reflection, and spiritual upliftment. Kudos to the organizers for their hard work.
May the Lord Jesus Christ bless the endeavors of this Conference abundantly.
Best regards,
The Archbishop of Athens and All Greece
