In the presence of numerous pilgrims from Greece and Ukraine, the Orthros and Divine Liturgy were celebrated yesterday, Tuesday, May 21, 2024, on the Feast of Saints Constantine and Helen. The service took place in the chapel of the School and was presided over by Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos.
Following the Divine Liturgy, a Trisagion was performed by the Abbot on the tomb of Patriarch Constantine V, a graduate of the School who served as Patriarch from 1897 to 1901. The Trisagion was also held for the blessed Metropolitans Constantine of Stavroupolis, the first Scholarch of the Theological School of Halki (1844-1865), and Constantine of Nicosia, a graduate and later Professor of the School.
