The Orthros and Divine Liturgy took place on Sunday at the chapel of Saint Germanos, Archbishop of Constantinople, located in the narthex of the Theological School of Halki. The services were conducted by Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos, the Abbot of the Holy Trinity.
After the Divine Liturgy, the Abbot led the artoklasia in honor of the Saint, along with a Trisagion service commemorating the late Patriarch Germanos IV, who established the Theological School of Halki 180 years ago. The services also honored other prominent figures associated with the school, including the late Metropolitans and graduates such as Germanos, who served as Professor and Scholarch from 1907-1922, Germanos of Theodoroupolis, who was the Abbot from 1991-1995, and Germanos of Tranoupolis, a dedicated member and President of the School’s Ephorate.
The services attracted a large number of pilgrims from Greece.
