On Easter Monday, May 6, 2024, the Patriarchal Church celebrated its patron saint, Saint George the Trophy-bearer.
The Ecumenical Patriarch participated in the Divine Liturgy, which was officiated by Metropolitan Andreas of Saranta Ekklisies. He was joined by Metropolitans Ioakeim of Bursa and Theodoros of Seleucia.
During the Divine Liturgy, the traditional Artoklasia service was conducted, offering prayers and blessings for the people of America, as well as for all the cherished faithful of the Holy Great Church of Christ worldwide.
Following the Divine Liturgy, the Ecumenical Patriarch distributed Easter eggs to the large congregation.
Metropolitans Athenagoras of Vizi and Chrysostomos of Myra, clergy, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the faithful from Constantinople attended the service.
