On Holy Friday, May 3, 2024, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew led the Epitaph Service at the Patriarchal Cathedral, accompanied by Metropolitans Meliton of Philadelphia, Eirinaios of Myriofyton and Peristasis, Theoliptos of Iconium, Ioakeim of Bursa, and Theodoros of Seleucia.
The emotional climate intensified as the Epitaph procession unfolded, both within and outside the bustling Patriarchal Church.
