Under his leadership, Metropolitan Ioannis of Korçë oversaw numerous projects aimed at revitalizing the Orthodox faith in Albania, including the renovation of churches, the establishment of new parishes, and the expansion of social services for those in need.
His dedication to the spiritual and material well-being of the faithful has earned him widespread respect and admiration within the Church and beyond.
As the new Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës, and All Albania, Archbishop Ioannis is expected to continue the legacy of his predecessor, Archbishop Anastasios, by promoting unity, peace, and love among all members of the Orthodox Church in Albania and beyond.
May God grant Archbishop Ioannis the wisdom, strength, and grace to lead his flock with humility and love, guiding them on the path of salvation and eternal life.
Let us pray for the newly elected Archbishop Ioannis, that he may be a faithful shepherd to his people and a beacon of light in a world filled with darkness.
Glory to God for His guidance and blessings upon the Orthodox Autocephalous Church of Albania!
