On Friday, March 7, 2025, the Ecumenical Patriarch presided over the First Stasis of the Salutations to the Most Holy Mother of God at the Parathronium in the Patriarchal Church.
Attendees included Hierarchs, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, led by the President of their Brotherhood “Panagia the Pamakaristos,” Archon Exarchos Athanasios Martinos, the Consul of Greece Theophilos Georgakis, and a large number of faithful from the City and pilgrims from abroad. Many students and their teachers from various schools in Greece were also present.
The sermon was delivered by Archimandrite Kaissarios Chronis, Archivist of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
Earlier in the morning, the Ecumenical Patriarch presided over the Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Holy Gifts.
