Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Parish of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Holborn, London on Sunday, 2nd March 2025, Cheesefare Sunday.
Concelebrating with Archbishop Nikitas were the Revd Archpriest Stéphane Maikovsky, Priest-in-Charge, and the Protopresbyter Alexander Fostiropoulos, along with the Revd Archdeacon George Tsourous and Revd Deacon Eugene Gafton.
After the Liturgy, the parish hosted a reception in honor of the Archbishop, featuring homemade dishes prepared by parish members and maslenitsa pancakes as part of the Cheesefare Sunday traditions.
Archbishop Nikitas engaged with the faithful during the visit and blessed the parishioners of Holborn.
