With the blessing of the Patriarch John X of Antioch, Bishop Romanos (Al-Khanat), accompanied by Bishop Moussa (Al-Khoury), participated in a meeting with the delegation of the Kingdom of Spain, headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares Bueno.
The meeting, which included representatives of various components of the Syrian people, aimed to strengthen collaboration and understanding regarding Syria’s future.
During the discussion, emphasis was placed on the importance of building a modern Syrian state that respects the aspirations of all its citizens and is founded on the principles of equality under the Constitution. After listening to all the participants, the Minister highlighted that Spain and the European Union support the Syrian people’s right to a democratic state and look forward to Syria’s return as a global destination for tourism and business.
